MISSION OPPORTUNITIESNurses Christian Fellowship officially does not sponsor any short-term missions programs. The opportunities listed in the NCF Missions brochure (download PDF) are partnerships where NCF has made a contribution to the programming and is confident of the program's ability to provide a high-quality, short-term missions experience. Any liability as a result of participation in short-term missions remains with the sending organization. Liability for NCF student-initiated programs remains with the affiliated academic institution and not InterVarsity/NCF.
We encourage nurses and nursing students to participate in many valuable short-term mission opportunities where their nursing expertise is utilized. However, we are unable to keep an updated list of all the opportunities that are available. For help in choosing a short-term missions project, see information under FAQ 8, FAQ 9 and FAQ 10.

Urbana 12: Be Part of History
We're gearing up for Urbana 12 where a new generation of students will be challenged to participate in God's mission to change the world. NCF Missions Director Grace Tazelaar is working with the Urbana team and a resource team from Christian healthcare mission organizations to invite high-quality speakers for the healthcare seminars. These seminars attract a lot of nursing students wanting to learn more about missions. Watch this video and spread the word about Urbana 12.
