From the Heart is a collection of 27 stories of nursing care and compassion that communicate the heart of great nursing. They are being made available for free from the Journal of Christian Nursing during the month of February. Each short vignette will warm and encourage your heart! Share these stories with the nurses in your group and encourage them to share their own person experiences of special instances of care for their patients.

Start planning for National Nurses Week
May 6-12

Though National Nurses Week is still several months away, you can start planning now to have a brunch, banquet, prayer walk, or other special event.  This year’s theme theme is "Nurses: Advocating, Leading, Caring". Later this spring check www.ncf-jcn.org for a Bible study guide and prayer guide we are developing for you to use.

Pray about what God would have you do to reach out to others in the nursing community. Discuss with your group what to plan and how to arrange for a speaker, food, facility, or advertising.  Remember to create an event that is seeker friendly!
