Purpose Statement

The purpose of this self-directed study is to examine motivations, attitudes and character qualities that foster Christian caring in nursing.

Learning Objectives
After reading this article, learners will be able to:
1. Explore motivation and methods to discover a personal “model for caring” in nursing practice.
2. Recognize three distinctive characteristics of Christian caring in nursing practice.
