The Journey Deepens Retreat
These weekends help prospective missionaries explore what it is like to be a missionary, discover whether a missionary or sender role is God's fit, and connect with mission agencies. This is for high school seniors, college students, young adults, mid-lifers, baby boomers - anyone willing to explore becoming a missionary.

- how to relate health concepts and the gospel to people
of other cultures and religions
- how to help people change health-related beliefs and behavior
- how to help people learn and apply new ideas
The Global Health Training Program at King College offers workshops in health missiology for health professionals serving the poor domestically and internationally. For more information please go to http://www.peeke.king.edu/index.php?id=476 or write to globalhealth@king.edu.
Medical Strategic Network, http://www.gomets.org/index.html.
The Medical Strategic Network is a nondenominational evangelical
organization dedicated to equipping health professionals
to reach their spheres of influence for Christ. In many cases
Christian health professionals feel ill-equipped to relate
the gospel to the questions and concerns of their non-believing
colleagues and patients. Designed by professionals for health
professionals, METS conferences and preceptorships provide
practical, hands on training to more effectively treat patients
- both spiritually and physically. |
