Nurses Christian Fellowship partners with Global Health Outreach, the short-term mission program of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. You can read more about their programs and requirements at www.cmda.org.
Some churches and denominations have missions programs that will allow you to do a short-term mission program. Check with your church and denomination. Many of the larger mission sending organizations have short-term programs that will allow you to "try on" missions.
