Preparing to Start an NCF Group

Reflect...God is already at working to prepare you and others for what He will do at your school of nursing. Anticipate what will happen when Jesus Christ becomes known to your fellow students and the faculty!

Talk...with NCF staff or volunteers and review the information in the "Beginning an NCF Group" packet. (request it from ncf@intervarsity.org)

Pray...Find one or more students to pray with you about the needs of fellow students and faculty at your school and the healthcare professionals you encounter. Ask God to give you wisdom and direction to begin NCF ministry on your campus.

Assess...Talk with other students about their interest in meeting, topics to discuss, and their abilities to help plan and lead the group. Consult with a faculty member or administrator about school requirements for campus groups. If possible, find a faculty advisor to assist you with starting a group.
